Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Agriculture, Talsande (Dist.  Kolhapur) organized a Guest lecture program on “Commercial Production of Vermicompost” . As a guide for the said program, Mr. Pratik Pawar (Founder, Hortus Agro Industries, Kasegaon, Dist. Sangli) He guided the students on set up of vermicompost production unit commercially, procedure & methods of vermicomposting, preparation of different microbial slurries, Market scope & demand.

On this occasion the Principal Prof. D. N. Shelar, Education In-charge Prof. R. R. Patil, Module Coordinator Dr. M. G. Lagare, Assistant Professor of Agronomy Prof A.B.Shende, and Prof. V. V. Zarekar along with a large number of students studying in the final year of the B.Sc. Agriculture attended. This program was anchored by Student Bhagyashree Khandekar, Bhakti Patil gave introduction while student Prashant Nangare thanked the audience.
