On Tuesday, 04 December 2022 Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Agriculture, Talsande (Dist.  Kolhapur) organized a student guidance program on “Protected Cultivation of Exotic Vegetables” under Student Ready Programme. As a guide for the said program, Mr. Praveen Mali (Exotic Vegetable Grower and Crop Pest Control Specialist, Shirol, Dist. Kolhapur) He guided the attendees in depth with examples emphasizing on how to grow exotic vegetables, care to be taken while selecting the crop, market demand, use of protected technology, pest and disease control, marketing, value addition of exotic vegetables.

On this occasion the Principal Prof. D. N. Shelar, Education In-charge Prof. R. R. Patil, Program Coordinator Dr. M. G. Lagare, Assistant Professor of Horticulture Dr. N. R. Kadge, and Prof. S. L. Raut along with a large number of students studying in the final year of the B.Sc. Agriculture attended. This program was anchored by Student Ms. Neha Patil did, Priyanka Saymote gave introduction while student Bhushan Mane thanked the audience.
