| Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Agriculture, Talsande are established by the visionary son of farmer Hon. Dr. D. Y. Patil (Ex. Governor, Tripura and Bihar State) with a view to providing advanced Agricultural Education to sons and daughters of farmers in the rural area. Hon. Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, President, Shri. Satej D. Patil, Vice-President and Shri Ruturaj S. Patil, Trustee, D. Y. Patil Group, Kolhapur have been carrying the tradition with a similar vision, zeal, and magnitude. On account of their valuable guidance and constant encouragement, the college is marching and progressing towards excellence in agricultural education. The college produce graduates needful for industry and farming business and striving to develop into most modern centers of Agriculture education for benefit of students. |
